Peer observation form for teachers

Teachers can collaboratively observe each other for professional development purposes using our simple to use peer observation form. Note that these peer observations are confidential and non- evaluative in nature.

HOW TO USE THIS FORM:

This form is intended to focus observations on the mechanics of the classroom instruction and interaction, not on the content of the course.

Dear Peer Observer:

This form helps you watch and evaluate your colleague’s class. Look for good teaching things and share ideas for making it even better. It's not just a checklist or template form but more like a guide to talk about what you see. 

Use it as a starting point to figure out what to talk about, based on what the class is about and how the teacher likes to teach, what’s working or not working for the class. 

The things mentioned in the form are important, but you can also talk about other things that matter and may not have been included.
